par⋅fum -noun [par-fœn]

1.a substance, extract, or preparation for diffusing or imparting an agreeable or attractive smell, esp. a fluid containing fragrant natural oils extracted from flowers, woods, etc., or similar synthetic oils.
2.the scent, odor, or volatile particles emitted by substances that smell agreeable.

in the past, I'd never really been able to find one that really tickled my fancy, growing tired of the scent literally within the hour. I'd come to realize that the slightly musky typically 'perfumed' scent just wansn't for me. Instead I'd wear scented oils like Body Shop's Satsuma and Sandalwood or Escada's Moonsparkle (it smells yummy and more like blackberries than traditional perfume). But after finding a perfume test card in a magazine the other night, I think it may be time to put add a few more bottles to my dresser.

Also, I've always had a thing for this ad campaign. Bridget Bardot, balloons and Paris. Oui Oui! Every fashionista loves this comercial: I couldn't resist having an excuse to post it:)
